Overview

What Is Crop PDF?

Crop PDF lets you trim margins from every page. You set values for top, right, bottom, and left in points (72 points = 1 inch). The tool updates the page boundaries so the visible area is smaller — ideal for removing white edges, letterhead, or standardizing page size.

Processing runs entirely in your browser. Your file is never uploaded. No sign-up or installation required.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What are “points” for margins?
Points (pt) are a standard unit in PDFs. 72 points = 1 inch. So 36 pt is half an inch. You can enter any value from 0 up to 200 pt per side.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Cropping happens in your browser. Your PDF never leaves your device.
Can I crop only some pages?
This tool applies the same margins to all pages. For per-page cropping, use the margin values that suit the majority, or run the tool on a PDF that contains only the pages you want to crop.
Does cropping reduce file size?
It can. Cropping changes the visible area; some viewers may not include content outside the crop box when printing or exporting, which can effectively reduce what’s stored. For maximum size reduction, use Compress PDF after cropping.
