Browse FilesWhat Is PDF to Excel?
PDF to Excel conversion extracts tabular data from PDF documents and converts it into a structured spreadsheet format (XLSX or CSV). Instead of manually retyping numbers from a report or invoice, this tool reads the text positions on each page and reconstructs rows and columns automatically.
The tool uses pdfjs-dist to parse each page and group text items by their vertical (Y) and horizontal (X) coordinates. Items on the same line become a row; their left-to-right order determines column placement. The result is a clean 2D table for every page of your PDF.
Once extracted, the data is written into an Excel workbook using the xlsx library — one sheet per page. You can also download a flat CSV with all pages combined. A scrollable preview lets you verify the data before downloading.
Everything runs on your device. Your PDF is never uploaded. This makes the tool safe for sensitive financial documents, invoices, and personal records.
